Exceptional Graduate Opportunity | AI, Venture Capital & Search New York | Hybrid | $90k Base + Uncapped Commission | $150k+ Year 1 Potential We're working with an established specialist search firm operating at the intersection of AI, venture capital and high-growth technology . They're looking for an exceptional early-career hire — not an experienced recruiter — but someone who has already demonstrated they can perform at a high level. This could be someone 1-2 years into a demanding corporate career , or a high-achieving graduate looking for something more entrepreneurial. So, what does a recruiter actually do? At its best, recruitment is a commercial, relationship-driven career . You'll work with founders and senior executives to understand the person they need to hire, then take ownership of finding that individual in a highly competitive market. Day-to-day, that means researching companies and talent markets, identifying and approaching high-calibre people, speaking with candidates about their careers, assessing whether they're right for a role, managing interview processes and ultimately helping bring both sides together. As you develop, you'll also learn how to build relationships with clients, win searches, manage accounts and eventually run your own desk. In this role, you'll be doing that for venture-backed technology companies, particularly across enterprise AI , giving you exposure to founders, investors and companies operating at the forefront of the market. The opportunity is essentially an “AI Sales MBA” - learning recruitment, sales, business and the startup ecosystem while building a network that would take years to develop through a traditional corporate career.
